Meet Mato, Angelo’s Good Friend.
Sangerz recently got behind well loved friend of owner Angelo, Mato Demir, with his participation in the recent cancer Council Charity function “Stars of Newcastle” which was held at West Leagues a few weeks ago.
Mato runs his own construction company, Demato Construction through which Mato sponsored the event and has become a bit of a Newcastle celebrity since dancing his way through the competition.
Mato is an ambitious Newcastle local who started his career in 1989 as an apprentice at R&W Beavan Pty Ltd. Fast forward to 2017 and this Star is the Sole Director of Demato Construction (Previously RTC). This Star is strapping on his dancing shoes on behalf of his company, much to the amusement of all his staff! Mato is motivated to be involved with Stars of Newcastle after he experienced first-hand the effects of Cancer on a family member.
There have been many highlights in Mato’s life including the birth of his three beautiful children, Jayden, Lachlan and Ebony to wife Michelle. The Star is also a self-confessed sports lover who can be spotted around Newy on a soccer field, golf course or carving it up on a surf board (when the sharks aren’t hanging around!) While he wouldn’t usually be caught dancing, Mato is ready to give it a red hot go! With the support of his giggling staff members this bloke is sure to be unstoppable!
